Dear Future Me……..Part II

p

I recently started to do the Dear Future Me series and I am going to do one post on this every week from now on until there are no more to do.  So here is question two in the series!

What Has Helped Make You, You?

Question 2: What has helped make you who you are right now?

Who am I?

What a question this one is!  I think for me this is personally one of the hardest questions that someone could ask me.  I think thats for a couple of reasons one is because I find it hard to talk about myself and the other is because we are constantly growing as people so I think this changes throughout life.  I will talk about who I feel I am now.

I care about others and their feelings a huge amount, I want to give every person I meet something to smile about and help them in any way I can.  I guess thats why I write my blog and share my experiences as it is my way to fulfil that value.  I also am very self critical I always think I can do better which at moments can be very frustrating as I never think I am doing anything useful or good.  I am a complete perfectionist and this comes in handy at moments but I can be a little OTT at moments.

I get anxious about doing things that I am not 100% about and this means that I have not had some experiences in life as I fear I will fail.  This in fact hurts me more overall as I miss out on things that I may have loved but its never too late to change this and I am currently working on doing this.

I am a believer of ending on a positive so, I am extremely driven and passionate about everything I do and will always do the best I can.  I am an extremely loving person and always make time for others should  they need me.  Finally I feel that I really understand people and how we are all different and except each individual for who they are and do not judge them for that.

What has helped make me who I am right now?

Lots of things have helped me become who I am.  I think the biggest thing is experiences that I have had whether good or bad, we are constantly growing and we learn so much from each day.  I think that my family have played large part in my growth and have supported me through lots of different things.

I am so grateful for all the experiences I have had so far and am looking forward to seeing where life takes me next.

I loved this post. I enjoy hearing about other people’s lives and little things that make people appear vulnerable is so honest and uplifting. Sometimes reading blogs you don’t see the person but just what they write, looking forward to part 3! xx
