This week I am talking about a technique called leading lines. It is using something within your picture to draw your eye to the subject. You can use all sorts of things for instance in the photograph above the main focus is the log but your eye is drawn towards you.
In this photograph the land line draws your eyes towards the horizon. It really gets you to follow along to see the whole beauty of the coastline.
The final photo is using the path to draw your eyes towards the distance and leaves you wondering what is around the corner.
Have you used this technique on purpose or by mistake in your photography? Would you try to use this in the future?
